Why No New Posts for a While?

You may have noticed the lag in new posts here lately. Sad to say, I've been having desktop computer problems, and my laptop is much too slow and quirky these days. In the meantime, check out my other blog, "Write your Life!" at www.seniiormemoirs.blogspot.com. I've kept up with my personal poetry writing challenge there.

Come back here in a few days to find out if--and how--I solved my computer problems.

Hello Marlys,

Sorry to hear about your computer problems.

Wanted to let you know I've been reading your book.

I loved your observations regarding education and learning.

I am a homeschool mom. I've learned a lot about what helps kids learn and how to best teach. I agree with you about self-discovery.

Nothing is a greater teacher than one's own curiosity.

I'll check back later after I finish your book.

Your fan,
Magnolia

Thanks, Magnolia. It takes courage to try home schooling; I've never taught (or had) children, but I don't suppose it's too different from college teaching. It's always good to hear from a fan (not that I have all that many).

You likely have more fans than you realize. Perhaps I am just the only one who speaks up.

Besides, if you leave this world having encouraged one person to live a richer, fuller life, I would say you've done an excellent job.

It's amazing what computers and internet connection can do.

It has brought together two women from two different generations.

I find that pretty amazing.

Yes, everything about the Internet is amazing. I hope more people of my generation start using it.
